Aziderm cream is available in the strength of 10% and 20% cream. First, wash your face properly with a mild soap or cleanser and water. Dry your face with the help of a towel. Take a small amount of the cream on the fingertips and apply it all over the affected area with gentle rubbing. It should be applied twice a day, once in the morning and in the evening. After applying this cream, wash your hands properly to avoid the contact of this cream with the eyes, nose, and mouth. You should use this cream for about 3 to 4 weeks to get the desired therapeutic effect.

Side-effects of using Aziderm cream:

Unlikely, there are some side effects which might occur while consuming Aziderm cream such as itching, redness, irritation, rashes, scaling of the skin, burning sensation on the skin, skin peeling, and numbness.

Contraindications of using Aziderm cream:

  • If you are hypersensitive to generic Azelaic acid, you should not apply the dose of Aziderm cream as it may make the condition of your skin worse.
  • Under certain medical conditions, you should not apply Aziderm cream as if skin disorders like psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis.
  • Aziderm cream may not use with any skin products or medications that contain alcohol, abrasives, astringents, skin peeling agents and tinctures.

  • It is advised that exposure to the sun while using this cream should be avoided; if you are going out in the sun then you have to use sunscreen or protective clothing in order to avoid the exposure.
